Terms of Use

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Important: NetND is a directory service that helps patients find naturopathic doctors. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we are not a party to the relationship between any patient and any doctor listed on this platform. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately — do not use NetND.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using NetND ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province or state, to create a doctor or clinic listing or submit a booking request. If you are under that age, please use NetND only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

These terms apply to everyone who uses NetND, including patients, individual doctors, and clinics — multi-doctor practices that maintain their own account and public profile, separate from any individual doctor's account. Where a provision applies specifically to one of these groups, it says so; otherwise it applies to all users.

2. Description of service

NetND is an online directory that allows patients to search for and connect with licensed naturopathic doctors and clinics based on focus area, treatment type, insurance, location, and other criteria. Doctors and clinics create public listings; clinics may additionally list the individual doctors associated with them, subject to that doctor's own consent (see Section 6, below). A patient's booking request is forwarded to the doctor or clinic by email; where a doctor or clinic has also provided their own external booking site or phone number, that's offered as an additional way to reach them, alongside — not instead of — a direct request through NetND. We facilitate discovery and initial contact; we do not provide healthcare services, employ or supervise any doctor or clinic listed, and are not a healthcare provider ourselves. NetND is an early-stage, growing service — features, plans, and the doctors and clinics listed are expected to change and expand over time.

3. No medical advice, no emergency service

Nothing on NetND constitutes medical advice. Information provided on doctor profiles, including focus areas, treatment types offered, and conditions treated, is supplied by the doctors themselves and has not been independently verified by NetND for clinical accuracy or legal scope of practice. Always consult directly with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or treatment decision. NetND is not equipped to handle emergencies, urgent medical situations, or crisis situations of any kind — if you need immediate help, contact 911 or your local emergency services.

4. Doctor listings, verification, and representations

NetND performs a reasonable review of license numbers and credentials submitted by doctors before approving a listing. However, we do not guarantee the ongoing accuracy of any doctor's credentials, licensing status, insurance acceptance, fees, or qualifications. Patients are encouraged to independently verify a doctor's license with the relevant provincial or state regulatory college before booking an appointment.

By creating a listing, each doctor represents and warrants that: (a) they hold a valid, current license to practice naturopathic medicine in good standing in the jurisdiction listed; (b) all information submitted is accurate, complete, and kept up to date; (c) they will promptly update or remove their listing if their license is suspended, revoked, or lapses; and (d) they are solely responsible for the clinical care, advice, and treatment they provide to any patient, independent of NetND.

5. Clinic listings, verification, and representations

Clinics apply for a listing separately from any individual doctor, and are reviewed before approval. A clinic listing is a business profile — NetND does not verify the credentials of individual doctors on a clinic's behalf beyond the review each doctor independently undergoes for their own listing (see Section 4, above).

By creating a clinic listing, the person doing so represents and warrants that: (a) they are authorized to act on behalf of the clinic and to submit information about it; (b) all information submitted about the clinic — including its address, hours, contact details, and accepted insurance — is accurate, complete, and kept up to date; and (c) they will not represent that a doctor is affiliated with the clinic unless that doctor has actually consented to the association through NetND's own request-and-accept process (see Section 6, below).

6. The clinic–doctor relationship, and consent

A doctor may be associated with a clinic's listing only with that doctor's own affirmative consent. This works in either direction: a doctor may request to link their profile to a clinic, which the clinic may accept or decline; or a clinic may invite a doctor to join, which that doctor may accept or decline. Either party may end the association at any time, which removes the connection between the two listings but does not delete or otherwise affect the doctor's own independent profile, account, or reviews.

NetND does not mediate, guarantee, or take a position on the underlying business or employment relationship between a doctor and a clinic — including compensation, scheduling, or any dispute that may arise between them. If a clinic invites someone who does not yet have a NetND profile, that person must create their own account before the invitation can be accepted; NetND does not create doctor accounts or profiles on a clinic's behalf without that individual's own action.

7. User accounts

Doctors and clinics who create an account on NetND are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating a listing and to keep that information up to date. A doctor's personal account and any clinic account are separate — a clinic cannot access or control a doctor's individual account, and vice versa, even where the same person is involved with both. Notify us immediately at hello@netnd.ca if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

8. Booking requests

A patient's booking request is forwarded by NetND via email to the doctor or clinic. Where a listing also provides an external booking website or phone number, that's offered as an additional way to reach them. Where a listing links to an external booking site, that site is operated by the doctor or clinic, not by NetND — we are not responsible for its content, availability, or how it handles any information you provide there. NetND does not manage scheduling, confirm appointments, process payments for medical services, or guarantee that a doctor or clinic will respond within any particular timeframe or at all. Any appointment arrangement, including fees, cancellation policies, and the clinical relationship itself, is solely between the patient and the doctor or clinic.

9. Reviews and user-submitted content

NetND allows patients to submit reviews of doctors. By submitting a review or any other content to NetND, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Service. You represent that any review you submit reflects your own genuine experience and is not false, defamatory, or submitted in exchange for compensation of any kind.

We do not independently verify the accuracy of reviews or profile content submitted by users, and do not guarantee that any review is authentic. We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to remove or moderate any content — including reviews or profile information — that we believe violates these terms, applicable law, or is reported to us as false or abusive. Doctors and clinics may not submit or solicit reviews about their own listing, or manipulate their review score through fake accounts or incentivized reviews.

If you choose to include personal health details in a public review, you do so voluntarily and at your own discretion — please avoid including more personal or identifying information than necessary, including about yourself or others.

10. Listing plans, fees, and billing

NetND's Professional (doctor) and Clinic plans are $35.99/mo, billed monthly, and come with a 30-day free trial for every new subscription. A payment card is required to start your application, and is collected before your credentials are reviewed — but no charge occurs at this stage under any circumstance. If your application is not approved, no subscription is ever created and your card is never charged. If approved, your subscription and trial begin at that point, and your card is only charged for the first time when the 30-day trial ends, unless you cancel before then.

Where we've made a specific public commitment about pricing to a doctor or clinic already granted it — including our original commitment that the first 50 doctors to join, and clinics approved before the same threshold, would receive our Professional or Clinic tier free of charge, permanently, for as long as their listing remains active and in good standing — that commitment remains binding on us for those specific accounts and will not be reversed. That free program is closed to new signups; it does not apply to any doctor or clinic joining now.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled. Payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor — NetND never receives or stores your full card number. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's billing section, including during your free trial, which opens Stripe's own account management page; canceling during your trial means you are never charged at all, and canceling afterward takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with access retained until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by law.

If a payment fails, we'll attempt to notify you and retry the charge. If the issue isn't resolved within 7 days of the failed payment, your listing will be temporarily hidden from search until payment succeeds — your profile and its information are preserved, not deleted, and become visible again automatically once payment is resolved.

NetND may offer referral rewards (for example, a free month for successfully referring another doctor or clinic) from time to time. Any such reward program is promotional, offered at our discretion, and may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time without affecting subscriptions already in effect.

11. Prohibited conduct

12. Intellectual property

The NetND name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of NetND and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission. Doctors and clinics retain ownership of the bio, photos, and other content they submit, but grant NetND a license to display that content as part of their public listing for as long as the listing remains active.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account or listing — doctor or clinic — at our discretion, for violation of these terms, submission of fraudulent credentials or clinic information, a lapsed or revoked license, or conduct that we reasonably believe harms patients, other doctors, clinics, or the Service. Doctors and clinics may request removal of their listing at any time by contacting us. Ending a clinic's listing does not delete the individual profiles of any doctors who were associated with it. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

NetND is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any doctor listing, clinic listing, review, or other content on the Service.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetND and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including damages resulting from interactions with, or the clinical care provided by, any doctor or clinic found through the platform, and including anything that occurs on a third-party booking site linked from a listing. NetND's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amount, if any, you paid NetND in the twelve months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NetND and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) content you submit, including reviews or profile information; (d) for doctors and clinics, any clinical care, advice, or service provided to a patient connected with through NetND; or (e) for clinics, any representation made about a doctor's affiliation with the clinic.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to first contact us at hello@netnd.ca so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

18. General provisions

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of that right. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NetND regarding the Service.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where practical, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
